Tuesday, 03 May 2011 08:50

For those of you wanting access to the PowerPoint links for the Brown Bag event yesterday, which covered Microsoft OneNote, Evernote, and Zotero, I'm reposting the relevant links from the slide show:

  • The 2010 version of Microsoft OneNote is available at office.microsoft.com. But check here for the more attractive academic pricing available for the MS Office suite, which includes OneNote.
  • Evernote's main web site is www.evernote.com. Using it requires that you download your corresponding desktop application and create an Evernote account. Both free & pay (subscription) versions of Evernote are available.
  • Access Zotero at www.zotero.com. Because it's a browser add-on, to use this you'll need to install the Firefox web browser, available at at this site.
Remember, the Instructional Technology Assistants at CDH are available to help you with any questions you have about these software solutions. Located at 1041 Luskin Public Affairs Building, our hours are 9a-4p Monday through Friday through the end of the quarter. Go to the "Contact" section of the CDH web site for specific contact information. -PJE
