Enterprise Messaging Migration
What:
- Your Humnet mailbox including your calendar will be migrated to Enterprise Messaging – UCLA centrally managed email system
- Humnet currently uses Exchange 2003 server and so does Enterprise Messaging
- Your published Humnet email address will NOT change
When:
- Friday, May 29th
- You must exit from your Humnet email by 6pm, May 29th
- You will not have access to your Humnet email from 6pm Friday, May 29 to 6am Monday, June 1st
- Any emails sent to your Humnet email after 6pm, May 29th will be queued up on the new Enterprise Messaging server waiting for you on June 1st
What you need to do on Monday, June 1:
- Change the configuration of your email client (Outlook, Entourage, MacMail, Thunderbird) by using one of our documentation (www.cdh.ucla.edu under How To – available week of May 25th)
- Call the CDH Help Desk x61414 and we’ll walk you through the changes
- Meanwhile, you can access your email using Outlook Web Access on em.ucla.edu (using your UCLA Logon ID as user name and Humnet password)

- www.cdh.ucla.edu (information and documentation)
- em.ucla.edu (Outlook Web Access) on and after June 1st
- Your UCLA Logon ID and Humnet password (used to logon to EM email)
- If you do not know your UCLA Logon ID, you can ask your DTA or look it up here: https://logon.ucla.edu/userlookup.php
- If you do not have a UCLA Logon ID, use humnet_(Humnet ID) as your logon to EM email
- For example: humnet_joe
